Japanese inspired dining, seasonal cocktails and natural wines, from the team behind The Rose, Deal.
Based on a Japanese Izakaya - a word which literally means ‘stay-drink-place’ - the tradition combines the atmosphere of a laid-back bar with small expertly-put-together plates of food.

Our menu changes seasonally, with a weekly specials board and a set lunch (£25) available Thursday & Friday.
Book a table with a sea view or grab yourself a spot at our chef’s counter - the best seats in the house for an intimate meal while being part of the workings of our kitchen. For tables of 6 or more you may be seated in our private dining room, a beautiful room on the first floor bathed in evening sun with views out over the Deal conservation area.
Our Cellar Bar is now open for drinks and small plates on Friday & Saturday evenings. Head downstairs and pull up a pew, no need to book.
